Michele McDonald is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Hubbard Chamber Music Series and Competition. She has performed extensively with The Hubbard Chamber Ensemble and as chamber musician and soloist. She has been featured soloist with a number of orchestras and was pianist and soloist for the Dallas Ballet Orchestra.
Ms. McDonald was for thirteen years an Adjunct Professor of Music at the University of Dallas in Irving where she taught private piano as well as developed the music history, music theory and chamber music programs. In 1995 she co-founded the Crowley Chamber Music Series in Dallas.
Michele is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Bowling Green State University College of Musical Arts. Aside from duties as HCMS Artistic Director, she is also active in the Rockwall Music Teachers Association, coaches student chamber music ensembles and teaches a class of private piano students. |
