Bethany Conway is a freelance musician in the DFW Metroplex. She is assistant principal cellist with the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and plays with the Dallas Opera orchestra. A native of Los Angeles, she studied from the age of twelve with Gabor Rejto at the University of Southern California. Other principal teachers include Claus Adam of the Julliard Quartet and Wolfgang Laufer of the Fine Arts Quartet. She has played with many different groups in Dallas and across the United States, including the Dallas Chamber Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony, Dallas Summer Musicals, Milwaukee Ballet, Louisville Orchestra, Oklahoma City Philharmonic and New Hampshire Music Festival. |

Libby Vanatta, a native of Middle Tennessee, joined the music faculty at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2010 as an adjunct instructor of piano. She currently teaches class piano courses and private piano lessons for non-keyboard majors. She is an accompanist for both faculty and students, and teaches private piano lessons and group piano classes for the Piano Academy at Texas A&M-Commerce. An active accompanist outside of Commerce, Ms. Vanatta has performed throughout the country at conferences, competitions, and in guest artist recitals.
Prior to her appointment at Texas A&M-Commerce, Ms. Vanatta taught at The University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg, MS), Indiana State University (Terre Haute, IN), and Millikin University (Decatur, IL). She also served as coordinator of graduate studies at The University of Southern Mississippi and coordinator of class piano at Millikin University.
Ms. Vanatta holds a B.S in piano performance from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and a M.M. in piano pedagogy from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. |
