Due to the greater number of string competitors in Division I and fewer numbers overall in Division II this season, HCMS has elected to restructure the awards as is stated in our policy. New Division Awards will be as follows:
First Place Division I $1000 (all instruments combined will compete for this award) Second Place Strings Division I $150 Third Place Strings Division I $100 Second Place Piano Division I $150 Second Place Ensemble I $150
First Place Division II $1000 (all instruments combined for all awards) Second Place Solo $300 Second Place Ensemble $300
Amateur Adult First Place $100
We regret that we are unable to increase the amount of award money. However, we feel this is a more even distribution of that which is available. |
